By Tony Sciarrotta, Reverse Logistics Association

Hello to my reverse logistics friends and colleagues all over the world,

My name is Tony Sciarrotta, and I am the new Executive Director for the Reverse Logistics Association. I am very excited to be stepping into this role after my active involvement in the reverse industry for over 15 years with the RLA and Philips. My passion for improving reverse logistics and reducing returns has been made clear to many of you in my presentations at many industry conferences, and I have been proud to work with many retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and 3rd party partners on reverse logistics solutions, and advancing the best industry practices. The vision for the Reverse Logistics Association was started by Gailen Vick in 2002, and the mission of the RLA will continue as I work to evangelize the importance of reverse logistics to all companies.

The RLA is and will be an industry association for its members. The members help determine the direction and focus of the RLA. My phone and email are always open for new ideas, topics, prospective members, and any other feedback you wish to send to me. The North American RLA Conference & Expo will return to Las Vegas, February 21st to 23rd, for the world’s largest attended reverse logistics industry trade show, with the most forward-thinking speakers, case studies, latest technologies, and newest ideas in the industry from Intel, Samsung, Wal-Mart, and others. The RLA will also plan more conferences, workshops, and seminars that will again be set in locations throughout the world. The help and support from all members of the RLA has been strong and is sincerely appreciated as I will try to listen and act on your input to grow the association.

Thank you, Tony Sciarrotta
