Message from the Editor

What an exciting time of the year! The holidays have arrived, which means selling and shopping have commenced at full-speed. This also means returns, repairs, and all other aspects of Reverse Logistics are also in full-motion. In addition, items are being purged from people’s homes and offices to make room for the new stuff. We as consumers, manufacturers, retailers, 3PSPs, and all other Reverse Logistics professionals, have a responsibility to make sure it’s all done safely and with the environment kept in mind.

In addition, RLA has had some very exciting changes. As you’ll read in this edition, the association has a new Executive Director, Tony Sciarrotta, since Gailen Vick has recently retired. Be sure to check out RLA’s 2016-2017 Goals and Highlights on page 10. As well as some information on RLA @ CES in January, and our next RLA event in Las Vegas, February 21-23.
