By Tony Sciarrotta, Reverse Logistics Association
The RLA is regaining our position as the only full-scale global trade association for the reverse and returns industry, and our organization is working to deliver a world class membership experience. The RLA has more active members than ever before, more events, more active committees, more social media, and more activities than ever. Many of our members have been telling us they see the improvements, and our members are telling other companies to come back or join the RLA.
The RLA will stay member driven. The RLA will evangelize about reverse logistics and returns to all consumer product industries, and at all related industry events where possible. The RLA will provide data about our industry. The RLA will continue to offer the newest innovations in reverse logistics, as well as the best practices for returns reduction and asset recovery. The RLA will provide networking and connection opportunities to our members, with our members. This is your RLA, and you can tell us what is needed, or ask us for information about the reverse industry. We don’t always have the answer but the RLA can get answers from the industry thought leaders, as well as from our Advisory Board.
The RLA is and will always be integral to the Circular Economy, active in the Artificial Intelligence development for reverse processing, presenting the use of Blockchain in returns reconciliation, offering new 12N QR code standards for one label solutions, and other innovations in our industry. The RLA is also forming alliances with other related industry associations for sharing ideas and presentations by the best speakers. The RLA is also extending memberships to academics in reverse logistics who provide research and white papers.
The RLA will continue to lead the reverse industry, albeit with some growing pains as we update our website, our social media, and improve our value proposition for the members.
