Waste Management reports higher residential recycling

RLA SmartBrief:  Executives at Waste Management and competitor Waste Connections say they have seen more glass in the recycling stream during the coronavirus pandemic, but not single-use plastic bags. Waste Management Vice President of Recycling Brent Bell says that curbside recycling contamination has fallen five percentage points from its 2018 peak, and residential recycling volumes increased while commercial volumes fell.
