Blue Yonder Acquires British Carbon Tracking Firm

Supply chain software vendor Blue Yonder has acquired Pledge Earth Technologies Inc., a British firm that provides accredited carbon emissions reporting.

The deal includes London-based Pledge’s global supply chain sustainability solution for beneficial cargo owners (BCOs), enterprise supply chain leaders, and logistics service providers (LSPs). Blue Yonder said those capabilities will enhance its exiting offering to include globally accredited logistics CO2e emissions reporting that allows customers to monitor their own emissions and those of their trading partners and suppliers.
