Our Membership Spotlight this week is recognizing HP! As a Platinum member of RLA, HP has been an active and supportive member since the early days of RLA, joining back in 2005! RLA can always count on HP as subject matter experts to present on stage at one of our events, in one of our webinars, or on our virtual committee meetings. HP has also been very active on our RLA Advisory Board and continues to step up and take a leading role in the reverse logistics industry.
As one of the top electronic manufacturers in the world, how is HP a leader in reverse logistics? HP has a goal to keep the circular economy in practice: "At all stages of our value chain, we are advancing circular solutions to create value and help eliminate waste. From sourcing, product design, and service-based business models to end-of-service solutions, circular transformations will redefine our business, and how our customers work and live." In addition, they are making it a best practice to manufacture products with a sustainable design: "Invent the future through our portfolio of products and services, including the world’s most sustainable PC portfolio. We drive Sustainable Impact by taking action on climate, energy, waste, and water across our operations." HP also makes product return and recycling a priority: "HP Planet Partners program collects used products for resale and recycling in 76 countries and territories worldwide."
